Day 19: Look back over the dares from previous days. Were there some that seemed impossible to you? Have you realized your need for God to change your heart and to give you the ability to love? Ask him to show you where you stand with him, and ask for the strength and grace to settle your eternal destination.Day 19 was a good day for reflection. None of the dares seemed impossible to me. Some have been difficult, but not impossible. I surrendered my heart to God a long time ago. It's been a wild adventure...often times difficult. But I am aware that the true agape love I can give, only comes from Him. "So how can you do it? Like it or not, agape love isn't something you can do. It's something only God can do. But because of His great love for you-and His love for your spouse-He chooses to express His love through you." - from "The Love Dare" Day 19.
What a humbling privilege to realize that God uses me to express His love to Matt. When I ponder the idea that I am used by God for Matt it makes me want to pour love all over my earthly prince.
Day 19 takes the reader into deeper thoughts of eternal destination and where one stands with God. I am secure in my eternal destination. But I do think it's a good idea at times to stop and ask God where I stand with him...so on Day 19 I did.
And His response to me was "in love. You stand with Me in love."
